The Proletariat Coalition withdraws from the ADN!
Comrades,
By decision of the People's Assembly, The Proletariat Coalition has withdrawn from the Alliance Defence Network and terminated it's 10 month-old membership within the organisation. As ordered by the Assembly, Blackbird presented to the Council of Regional Representative a notice which informed the leadership of our impending withdrawal. The two "confirmation" weeks having expired, our region has formally withdrawn. These events come as a direct consequence of the aggressions made by the ADN leadership against the Red Liberty Alliance Intelligence by exposing the cover of The Red Factions, also known as Grippsholm, former Field Marshal of The DEN, blatantly violating article 2.03 of the New Athens Accord - the former alliance between the ADN and the RLA which was repudiated by the Central Soviet on April 28th.
The Committee of Citizen Information indicates Ketoprofen presented to the People's Assembly a motion to withdraw from the ADN in a speech fiercly denoucing the repulsing actions of Unistrut and Pope Hope, respectively Deputy Director and Director of the ADN, which was seconded by The Red Factions, and supported by an overwhelming majority. The Voice of the Proletariat reports 77.77% of the votes tallied were in FAVOUR of our withdrawal - only 3 votes opposing this motion were recorded. Noted were the dissapointement of a few long-time members of the Coalition, most notably Comrade Blackbird and Anarchotopia, over this decision. As is tradition in the ADN when a region withdraws, the ADN leadership lost no time to release a commentaries in which it let loose such balderdash as "Stick your head where the sun doesn't shine TPC" and claimed as usual the ADN would come out stronger from the withdrawal. While The Red Liberty Alliance and The Proletariat Coalition were severing links with the ADN, our good allies in the Emergency Auxiliary Army, in a show of solidarity and friendship, rescinded theirs with the ADN. Deputy Commander in Chief, Chin-Chillas, released the following statement on their news portal which reads as follows:
As expected, the ADN leadership, with every nerve on the alert, are raising a terrific hue and cry over the Red Liberty Alliance's "political motive" and it's failure to live up to the ADN-imposed requirements of "defender unity". As has been pointed out by many others, this is nothing but a scream of those jealous over the RLA's astonishing success on all fields. This brings to light the questionnable intention of the ADN leadership to retain a firm grip over defender organisation, especially those threatening it's power and standing as the so-called "premier" defence organisation in NationStates and impose their methods and ethics.
It is the stern belief of this reporter that the withdrawal comes as a victory for our region and that the Red Liberty Alliance and The Proletariat Coalition will march forwards towards an even brighter future, without the slightest vacillation but most importantly, without the ADN.
In Solidarity,
The Red Factions

The Central Command of the EAA is disapointed to announce the termination of the working alliance between the ADN and the EAA. Due to differences in each organizations' working "ethics", both sides have agreed that it would be in everyone's best interests to dissolve the accord. Both will continue to serve NS by defending regions, but will no longer be working "hand-in-hand". The EAA is saddened by this resolution and the level of negative posts being dispersed by ADN personnel. We hope this ends the "mud-slinging" and pray that no other region or organization has been affected by this turmoil. As always, for more info please see www.the-eaa.tk.
