NEW CHARTER IN THE ALLIED STATES OF EUROISLANDERS

Comrades of the Coalition,
For very long, our comrades in the Allied States of EuroIslanders have been considered to be a beacon of Democracy and equality. Thanks to their direct democracy, with the Assembly being the Supreme Headquarters of their unique democracy, based on the Athenian version set up thousands of years ago, the People of the Allied States of EuroIslanders can truly state that it is The People and solely The People that decide the course and politics of their beloved region. The Assembly is the ultimate decision making body of the Allied States. All members have a vote on all matters in this forum, and being a member requires only the presence of a puppet, UN member or not, and The People are the supreme master of their own destiny, as it strives for democracy in regions across the world. Although the Allied States of EuroIslanders have been repeatedly been depicted as evil and responsible for all the problems the Alliance Defense Network has ever faced, this image is slowly but surely wearing off. With the arrival of ADN members to the ASE forums, the rumours have been proved wrong and many have made comments similar to the one below, coming from a resident of the region Equilism who ventured into the boards of the Allied States of EuroIslanders.

To another event of note in the Allied States of EuroIslanders, is the fact that The Assembly, Supreme Headquarters of Democracy, has passed the Seventh version of The Charter of the Allied States of European Islanders and Federated Realms With this new charter, the positions of the famous EuroIslanders Strategoi have been abolished to be replaced with Democratically Elected People’s Committees. As written in the New Charter, their role will be to manage the policy of the Allied States of EuroIslanders and accountable to the democratic will of all nations residing in the Allied States of EuroIslanders. Five Committees have now come into being and elections for them are currently underway. Even Comrade The Red Factions, has decided to involve himself more in the regional affairs of a region that has been our longest term ally so far and has decided to stand for a committee, namely the one of Information Distribution. There shall be elections to the Committees every thirty days from the completion of the previous election, with the first date to be set by a motion of the Assembly upon the passage of this Charter. Dates of elections thereafter will be inscribed in placed of public prominence so that members of the ASE may choose which committee they wish to apply for.
